which is exactly the way I like my books

Have not read the book yet. I finished LONESOME DOVE last night. I mean after all it is a book not far off a thousand pages, which is exactly the way I like my books. As to COMANCHE MOON I don't like the book's format. It seems to be made on a pocket-book format, instead of a full size book. It leaves you reading in the crack of the book. I don't buy pocket books or paper-back books. Only full-size hardbacks. I like the leather bound too. The thing is COMANCHE MOON is probably long time out of print & I am very fortunate to get it in whatever format. Sincerely, thank you very much, Amazon.

The Frontier Is Life And The Search Is For Wisdom

While the prequel to the dynamic Lonesome Dove packs a powerful punch - a blur between good & evil, sadistic killers, bumbling politicians and rumbling battles - it is the oftentimes subtle interplay of characters through dialogue that makes the novel a classic.

Though August McCrae and Woodrow F. Call drive the 803 pages, author Larry McMurtry's delving into the endless/futile quest for love, the "taming" of a vast landscape with irreversible ramifications and noble quests destroyed through ignorance & greed brings special realism to this novel on the Real West.

And in the end, the themes are ultimately timeless, which makes the journey the reader takes so special on many levels.

Good Reference

This book strikes a good balance as a reference. It gives you all of the information with enough description to be useful, but it doesn't go overkill and make the book weigh 14 pounds. As a web developer, I'll be keeping this handy.

Very useful book.

The book has good layout and presentation. It is easy to use and follow. It delivers reference content and it outlines some conceptual basics. Browser compatibility info is very handy since you know there are plenty of issues! A separate mobile chapter would probably be a good idea since Android and iPhone development is big these days. ...Still I would give it five stars. This seems to be the best HTML5/CSS3 reference book on the market, probably my top 2 overall HTML5 books.

Great reference book

This is an EXCELLENT reference, with a complete listing of HTML elements and CSS syntax. There are many usage examples presented, which helps to see the syntax "in action" for implementation. My favorite feature is the inclusion of notations next to those elements new to HTML5 and CSS3. This is a must-have reference to have along side your tutorials an cookbooks for web layout and implementation.

Even a small improvement in your communication skills could be life-changing. It only needs one or two people, in key situations, to say yes where they might have said no for the course of events to be radically altered. Just imagine if Louis XVI had persuaded Danton to stay for dinner. ‘Talk Lean’ gives you a framework to significantly improve your communications skills and achieve what you want without coming across as aggressive.

It is not only relevant in terms of practical application, but an excellent guide to know better the Discipline Interactifes, which I've had the pleasure of being introduced and already harvested practical and really satisfactory results with its use.
The author has a good sense of humor and despite of the easy reading, his analysis of real situations give us an interesting perspective in how the communication occurs currently.
If you want to improve your communications skills, I do not know a better material to recomend. Or if you want a world with people more polite, calm, respectful, courteous, using a language more clear, simple, straight to the point, this is a excelent option to give as a present to someone that you have much contact.

In this book, Pitches breaks down Meyerhold to his essence (and Meyerhold would appreciate it!), making a lifetime of complicated ideas about theater and a vast directing career so clear and exciting. His clarity and enthusiasm for the work is thrilling, and the exercises for the theater student learning Meyerhold are right-on. I highly recommend this book to anyone trying to learn about Meyerhold, and this series of books to all young theater directors.

Its often hard to put into words one's relationship with self and God and our reason for being. The longing for love and the moments of pure grace that fill our hearts, with the simplest of joys that remind us of the unjourneying I need to take in order to feel God in my being.
This book evoked a deep sense of gratitude the words and images it created, short stories and poetry stirred my heart with an understanding of our deepest yearning. Thank you Janaka.....
